Mr. Brown joined Farmer & Associates, PLLC in June, 2013 as an associate after obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.  Mr. Brown maintains a practice in the areas of domestic and international tax, as well as trust and estate planning, including cross‑border tax, estate, and asset protection planning, tax controversies and litigation (including significant estate tax controversies and offshore voluntary disclosures under the various U.S. Internal Revenue Service programs), and corporate law, tax planning, and business transactions for business entities and investors (including advice regarding in‑bound foreign investment in U.S. Real Estate Investment Trusts).

 Mr. Brown received his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law, magna cum laude, and his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law.  At Ave Maria School of Law, Mr. Brown was Editor‑in‑Chief of the Ave Maria Law Review, a three‑time member of the Dean’s Honor Roll, awarded the Best Appellate Brief in the St. Thomas More Moot Court Competition, and a recipient of the St. Raymond of Penyafort Award for excellence in written advocacy.  At New York University School of Law, Mr. Brown focused on international tax, taxation of business entities, taxation of financial instruments, and common tax issues faced by high net worth individuals, and he consistently obtained top grades in his courses.  Prior to law school, Mr. Brown obtained a B.S. in Building Construction from the University of Florida, cum laude, and studied abroad at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the spring of 2008.

 Mr. Brown is a member of the American Bar Association Tax Section, the Florida Bar Tax Section, the International Fiscal Association, and is a Technician member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).  Mr. Brown is admitted to practice law in Florida, and before both the United States Tax Court and the Middle District of Florida.
